Landfill Gas Remediation Action Plan

Core Environmental Projects (Core-EP) were engaged to provide expert advice in relation to the management of landfill gas risks associated with Uncontrolled Fill (UCF) containing various amounts of waste. A detailed assessment of the fill material, the Total Organic Carbon (TOC) and landfill gas generation modelling were used to develop a site-specific screening and verification process to be adopted during the proposed earthworks, which were necessary as part of a proposed residential development.
