Asbestos Management

Core-EP provided investigation, asbestos management, remediation oversight, air monitoring and regulatory compliance support throughout the works. A project-specific Soil and Asbestos Management Plan was developed to guide excavation, material handling, stockpile management and dust control, with detailed tracking used to ensure the safe segregation and disposal of impacted materials. Airborne fibre monitoring conducted throughout the works confirmed that control measures remained effective, and Core-EP subsequently completed validation and clearance assessments confirming the area was suitable for redevelopment. The rapid response and compliant site clearance allowed construction activities to proceed safely, with minimal disruption to the project program.
