Construction Quality Assurance
Core Environmental Projects provide third-party Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) to independently certify that all relevant construction elements are installed in accordance with the construction plans, product specifications and manufacturer’s warranty.
Core work closely with all relevant stakeholders, including product suppliers, before and during construction to establish an acceptable design approach, specification and construction method.
During construction we provide the client with Construction Quality Assurance documentation to ensure that the proposed system is installed as per the specification. This Quality Assurance results in reduced liability for system installation and defects claims against the client and/or the manufacturer.
Our involvement may include project management, monitoring, Quality Assurance inspections, record keeping (documentation) and reporting. Typically, our involvement is driven by the stakeholder’s risk management and liability appetite and/or regulatory requirements.
Our services include:
- Landfill Gas Risk Mitigation Systems (GRMS) CQA.
- Vapour Risk Mitigation Systems (VRMS) CQA.
- Basement waterproofing systems CQA.
- Preparation of Construction Quality Assurance Plans (CQAP) and project management.
